FSU football will travel to face the No. 14 NC State Wolfpack at Carter-Finley Stadium Saturday night with the chance to improve to 5-1.

It’s a pivotal game for both teams to keep their hopes alive in competing for the ACC Atlantic Division.

However, FSU football has more control since they still have the opportunity to play Clemson next week if they defeat NC State..

A win against NC State would be massive and put the Noles in a position nobody thought they would be in after six games.

FSU football vs. NC State: Betting Odds

The Noles are +3 betting underdogs in this matchup, with the over/under coming in at 50.5. That implies a 27-24 outcome in the game. Some folks believe the spread should be larger, but I think the odds symbolize the bettor’s lack of belief in NC State’s offense this season. I think FSU’s offense has a better chance of scoring a ton of points than NC State, even though NC State’s defense is good.

However, it’s a home game for the Wolfpack and their fans will be loud for 50K. The key for the Noles is getting off to a fast start on both sides of the ball.

I think FSU has the more complete team, but injuries at key positions have limited the Noles on both sides of the ball.

I said the under was the betting play in the matchup against Wake Forest last week and that came to fruition. It’s likely the best play in this game as well.
