FSU football will travel to face the NC State Wolfpack Saturday at 7:30 p.m. It will be the fourth night game for the box office Noles this year.

The Noles had their first loss against Wake Forest in week five as the offense failed to show up for the majority of the first half. NC State suffered their first loss on the road against Clemson. This game will keep the winner in contention for the ACC Atlantic with the loser likely relegated to gatekeeper status.

FSU Seminoles vs. NC State Odds Week 6

FSU football comes in as a betting underdog at +3.5, a money line of +145, and over/under at 51.5. That means FSU has to lose by now more than four points for your +3.5 bet against the spread to win.

If you bet the money line for FSU to win straight up, that means if you bet $100, you would win $145.. The over/under implies a 27-24 score favoring NC State.

FSU has the more complete team overall. Both offenses can score, but FSU has the better defense and more talent overall. However, that was the same against Clemson, expect Clemson’s offense isn’t as good as FSU’s.

The odds suggest this game would be a pick’em on a neutral field, but Carter-Finley Stadium can be a raucous place to play at night. However, FSU has played two night games away from Doak Campbell Stadium and won this season.

FSU Seminoles vs. NC State Prediction Week 6

I’ll save my prediction for later in the week, but this is a game the Noles can win. It looks like Jared Verse could return to the lineup this week after play on a limited snap count against Wake Forest.

His return would be a nice addition to the FSU defense that struggled to get off the field against a potent Wake Forest offense.

NC State has more of a conventional offense that’s not special. However, they try to negate the pass rush by getting rid of the ball quickly on short routes to receivers or running backs in the flats.
