The suspense around FSU football QB recruiting will be over on Saturday afternoon. Four-star QB target Brock Glenn will announce his commitment on the 247 Network Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, according to recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong.

It sounds like it’s a two-team race between the Noles and Ohio State, however, everything will be on the line for FSU after the de-commitment of Chris Parson earlier this month.

The FSU coaching staff needs to take two QBs in this recruiting cycle, and Parson wasn’t a fan of that idea. Once some momentum for Brock Glenn towards FSU started, Parson exited stage left.

However, there has been some chatter about Ohio State creeping back into the picture lately. Glenn officially visited the Noles on June 10 and Ohio State on June 17th. Crystal Ball predictions favoring the Noles began rolling in on July 11th.

One thing to keep in mind is that FSU will host a large amount of big-time targets on campus this weekend. One part of me says this has been orchestrated by the staff to help create some big-time momentum going into the season.

It would be a massive get for FSU for a couple of reasons. Glenn is the top QB on their board, and it would give the perception they beat Ohio State for his commitment. It would also likely create some additional buzz that may influence other targets on campus to announce their commitments.

The Noles sit No. 45 nationally, and adding a couple of key recruiting targets would improve that drastically. However, if Glenn chooses anywhere else, it would be a massive loss on the recruiting trails for the staff.

No other quality recruiting targets left unless they tried to pry away Miami commit Emory Williams.

Either way, we’ll finally have some closure to the QB saga from the past few months. Here’s to hoping Glenn picks the good guys!
