The Amarius Mims sweepstakes are off to the races, and the former five-star offensive tackle begins his recruitment process after entering the transfer portal Sunday afternoon.
The two teams most involved are Miami and FSU football, and as I mentioned earlier this week, other schools could jump in the mix.
A report Tuesday indicated Mims plans to visit Miami in the coming days, and some FSU football fans felt that was an indication of Miami taking the lead in that recruitment.
However, we have to think about it from this perspective. Some people hoped this recruitment would be over by Wednesday or Thursday this week in favor of FSU, but that was never realistic.

I suppose they believe he’ll love Miami so much he may not go on any other visits, which is foolish. Let’s look at the difference between visiting Miami and FSU.
