FSU football: Early Signing Day 2022 Tracker, Live updates

The FSU football program has the potential for a 2022 top-10 recruiting class after a five-win season in 2021.

The FSU football program had a strong 2021 recruiting cycle overall. They had a commitment from five-star defensive back Travis Hunter, but the addition of five-star Sam McCall came as a surprise earlier in the year, and many people didn’t think the staff would hold on to his commitment.

Another commitment from four-star quarterback AJ Duffy and several others before the recruiting dead period gave the coachings staff huge momentum heading into the summer.

The momentum continued in the first game against Notre Dame, and the energy around the program was incredible despite a loss in overtime.

However, a loss against Jacksonville State the following week had to be rock bottom for the program.

To their credit, they continued to fight and eventually got in the win column to create some needed momentum mid-way throughout the season.

A win over rival Miami for the first time in four years was a signature win for Mike Norvell, and helped salvage what was ultimately a disappointing season with them failing to make a bowl game.

The coaching staff has been grinding since the season finale against Florida, which has gotten us to this point to see who will officially sign to become Noles. FSU checks into the Early Signing Period with the No. 11 recruiting class nationally with 16 commitments below.
