FSU football has had a ton of recruits on campus in June and will host several players on their official visits this weekend.

One of the ‘Noles top offensive line targets, Qae’shon Sapp, will visit Tallahassee this weekend for the second time this month.

The Noles are one of three schools that will have Sapp on campus twice since the NCAA recruiting dead period ended.

Interestingly, FSU is one of two schools to make his final four lists of schools released Wednesday evening:

Sapp visited Florida on June 1st and Auburn on June 2nd before attending FSU’s camp on June 5th. Sapp went back to Auburn on June 7th for another unofficial visit before officially visiting Florida on June 11th.

Sapp officially visited Cincinnati on June 18th and will officially visit FSU football on June 25th. That FSU visit will be the final one before he announces his commitment on July 3rd.

Will he choose the Noles? FSU gets the last visit, and Sapp didn’t visit the other school on his final list(Georgia). I thought it was interesting he visited Auburn twice, and they didn’t make his final list, but Georgia did, although he didn’t visit there this month.

He’s from Georgia, so maybe that explains it. Nevertheless, FSU holds all of the 247 Crystal Ball Predictions (six votes), and they hold the final visit before he announces his decision.

The Noles are close in proximity, and FSU safety Jammie Robinson attended the same high school. That relationship has given Sapp some context on the school and the staff as well. Sapp has a great relationship with Alex Atkins and is also a teammate of another FSU target Jaron Willis (Georgia Tech commit), who’ll be visiting as well.

This recruitment seems to be a Florida/FSU battle, and I like FSU here as long as the official visit goes well(and all of them have thus far). Sapp would be a great addition to the trenches and continue to give the Noles momentum on the recruiting trail.
