FSU football met a lot of needs with its 2021 recruiting class. I look at three true freshmen who could see playing time.

FSU football has a new coaching staff, but the mantra is still the same. That means the best players will play regardless of classification.

There was a trend of young players playing a lot of snaps in the Willie Taggart era.

The 2018 recruiting class saw about 30 percent of its true freshmen taking meaningful snaps.

That number increased to about 38 percent with the 2019 recruiting class and remained the same for the 2020 class.

The Noles took some talented players in the 2021 class and had six high school players enroll in the spring semester.

Usually, early enrollees have the highest probability of playing as freshmen because they get a head start in strength and conditioning and experiencing spring practice.

The positions that saw early enrollees were positions that could benefit the most. FSU had wide receivers, offensive linemen, tight end, and a defensive end representing.

However, if a player is ultra-talented, it’s hard to keep them off the field whether they can early enroll or not.

Here are three freshmen (true) who I can see playing meaningful snaps in 2021.
