FSU football coaches are off to a great start for 2022 recruiting.

FSU football made the top five list of schools for 2022 blue-chip wide receiver Quincey McAdoo three weeks ago.

The Arkansas product listed FSU, Arkansas, Auburn, Oklahoma, and Tennessee as the top schools competing for his commitment.

It didn’t take long for him to pull the trigger on his decision as he committed to the Noles Sunday afternoon.

He announced the decision via his Twitter account around the same time FSU received a 2021 commitment from South Carolina safety transfer Jammie Robinson:

The commitment is No. 3 for the 2022 FSU football recruiting class. He checks in at 6’3″ and 175 pounds and is considered the No. 218 ranked player nationally, No. 28 wide receiver, and the No. 1 player in Arkansas.

The Noles were one of the first programs to offer McAdoo back in March 2020. He was part of the first wave of 2022 offers that went out once they nailed down the 2020 transition class after taking over.

Arkansas had 100 percent of the 247 Crystal Ball Predictions, but that goes to show you those are not always accurate. The commitment was a bit of a surprise to most FSU football fans who have been enamored with how FSU will finish the 2021 class.

FSU offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham spoke about FSU’s need for playmakers, and they have done a good job of addressing that issue through high school and transfer portal recruiting.

It’s still early for 2022 rankings, but the commitment moves the Noles up to No. 13 in the nation. That ranking will go up once updated as three-star defensive end NyJalik Kelly is better than his rating.
