FSU football signed almost all of their current commits for the 2021 recruiting cycle.
FSU football coaches did a great job of getting nearly all of their current commits to sign at the beginning of the early signing period. The lone commit who did sign early was three-star offensive lineman Kimo Makaneole.
The Noles went into Wednesday with 16 total commits(including transfer McKenzie Milton) and added another commit/signee at a critical position of need in pass rusher George Wilson.
There are a few more targets who have yet to put pen to paper, so the Noles could have a couple of more additions soon.
They have roughly nine spots left in the class, with several blue-chip targets and players in the transfer portal to choose.
Norvell says #FSU could have a few more players to come in the next few days, but says that he believes his staff did a good job evaluating FSU's needs and filling them.

One thing that stood out to me was how excited some of the players seemed to join the FSU football family. Some of them took to social media to post how they were feeling:

Thoughts
That’s just a few of them, but it’s refreshing to see guys wanting to be a part of the process in getting FSU football back to competing amongst the elite.
I think the staff did a good job of identifying and addressing needs in the class. They have an experienced quarterback, pass rushers, versatile defensive players, and some offensive line options.
The key will be to add quality pieces at running back and wide receiver. Mike Norvell said they expect to add as many as three wide receivers in this recruiting class.
I expect that to be a combination of players from high school and the portal, as that’s one position where FSU lacks experience and depth.
I also expect them to add at offensive line, defensive tackle, running back, linebacker, and possibly defensive back.
Stay tuned to Chopchat for more recruiting news and analysis as more additions to the class come about.
