FSU football will play game No. 5 Saturday at noon against the Louisville Cardinals. Here is the best way to watch the game.

FSU football is coming off its biggest win since the Orange Bowl at the end of 2016. If they win this game, it means they could continue to build confidence for the future.

A loss would take away some of the lusters from the win over North Carolina last week with the Cardinals entering the game 1-4 with losses to some terrible teams.

The Noles are +4 betting underdogs at most betting sites with a total of 61, which means Vegas expects the Noles to lose somewhere along the lines of 32-28.

I provided my five keys to FSU defeating the Cardinals a couple of days ago, and how they start the game will likely tell us a lot regarding where the program is at the moment.

However, Louisville is coming off a close game at first glance against Notre Dame, so they might have gained some confidence in that outing.

This one is an incredibly important game for the Noles, as a lot of folks are already trying to discredit the win over North Carolina, noting North Carolina shouldn’t have been ranked No. 5 because other conferences hadn’t started their season yet.

A loss against a 1-4 Louisville team would be bad for the optics, not to mention the Noles will host No. 1 Clemson in their next game after the bye week.

A win against Louisville would put FSU football in a strong position to finish with seven wins this season. That would seem to be a minor miracle considering how they began the season against Georgia Tech and Miami.

I’m interested to see what type of energy this team brings to the field Saturday afternoon. They haven’t fared well on the road, and this will be their first time playing at noon this season. If the Noles don’t beat themselves with penalties and turnovers, I expect them to bring home the W.
