FSU football coaches are still hard at work evaluating players for its 2022 recruiting class. Their latest offer is blue-chip OT from South Carolina.

FSU football coaches are looking to solidify its offensive line group in the upcoming recruiting classes.

They’ll likely take at least 2-3 more offensive tackles in 2021, but they are already concentrating on building relationships with that position group for 2022.

The Noles have three-star South Carolina wide receiver Joshua Burrell committed for the 2021 recruiting cycle. He’s the top-rated player in that state, and it looks like FSU is looking to make a push in that state for more talent in the coming years.

Four-star offensive tackle Collin Sadler announced an offer from the Noles Tuesday via his Twitter account:

Sadler checks in at 6’6″ and 295 pounds and has 30 offers from the likes of FSU, Alabama, South Carolina, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Miami, NC State, Notre Dame, Louisville, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Oregon, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, USC, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and others.

Sadler is considered the No. 181 player nationally, No. 19 offensive tackle, and the No. 4 player in the state of South Carolina.  There are four 247 Crystal Ball Predictions for Sadler to choose Clemson at this time, all with fairly high confidence ratings.

Sadler visited South Carolina and North Carolina this spring before COVID-19 shut everything down. Clemson didn’t offer until June 1, but it’s hard to argue an in-state player wanting to play for the Tigers.

FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins will be the primary recruiter and has solid ties in the state. The offensive tackle position will continue to be one of the most important positions in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

We’ll see if the Noles can infiltrate South Carolina and snag another one of its best players the way they got Joshua Burrell.
