FSU football coaches are still hard at work looking to fill their needs along the offensive line. Their latest offer is an offensive tackle from Michigan.

FSU football has had a nice stretch of recruiting momentum over the past couple of months but still have a need in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

The Noles have two offensive linemen committed for the 2021 recruiting cycle, and the need for a true offensive tackle continues.

The latest offer goes to three-star offensive tackle Ru’Quan Buckley who hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Buckley announced the FSU offer via his Twitter account Friday after spending a lot of time building relationships with the FSU staff:

Buckley is considered the No. 545 player nationally and listed as a defensive end, although he’ll play offensive tackle. He’s considered the No. 14 player in Michigan overall.

He holds 17 offers from the likes of FSU, Nebraska, Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Purdue, Oregon, Syracuse, TCU, West Virginia, and others.

Buckley checks in at 6’6″ 260 pounds, so he’ll need to hit the strength and conditioning phase of things hard once he gets to college to put on the size required to play offensive tackle.

Nebraska holds the 247 Crystal Ball Prediction lead with 100 percent of the votes(two votes), with both votes coming in January with the confidence of six on a 10-point scale.

Buckley has taken a virtual visit to FSU recently, and the staff will look to get him on campus as soon as the dead period is lifted when campus visits are allowed.

He’d be a nice addition with high upside to the class at this stage as multiple targets have come off the board. Will the late offer hurt the Noles? If they can get him to visit, I think they have as good a shot as anyone.
