FSU football is looking for playmakers on both sides of the ball. A blue-chip wide receiver has the Noles in his top seven list of schools.

FSU football coaches are looking to add the best players possible to get the program back to where it’s supposed to be.

They have seven commitments and have sent out over 275 scholarship offers for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

FSU coaches continue to use the relationships they had before coaching at FSU to try and gain traction with players outside of the state of Florida.

Those are paying off as the Noles have made the top seven of another blue-chip wide receiver in Isaiah Brevard. Brevard announced his list via his Twitter account:

Brevard hails from Southhaven, Mississippi, and has 22 offers from the likes of FSU, Baylor, Oregon, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Louisville, Miami, Tennessee, TCU, Missouri, Syracuse, Penn State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and others.

He checks in at 6’4″ and 200 pounds and is considered the No. 121 ranked player nationally, No. 20 wide receiver and the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi.

Brevard was offered by the old staff in June 2019, and the new staff re-offered him in early February. Teams like Penn State, Baylor, and Missouri didn’t offer him until after FSU.

He released a top 10 last month and removed Memphis, Louisville, and Nebraska.

Ole Miss holds the 247 Crystal Ball Predictions lead with 67 percent of the votes (2), and Oregon holds 33 percent of the votes(1). However, it should be noted the Oregon prediction came last month and the two predictions for Ole Miss took place last year.

Four-star quarterback and FSU commit Luke Altmyer is from Mississippi and considered the No. 4 player overall in the state.

That relationship could pay dividends too, since every wide receiver wants a QB that can get him the ball.

Here’s to hoping the Noles can get Brevard on campus with things open back up.
