FSU football is looking for playmakers on both sides of the ball. A blue-chip wide receiver has the Noles in his top six list of schools.

FSU football coaches are looking to add the best players possible to get the program back to where it’s supposed to be.

They have six commitments and have sent out over 275 scholarship offers for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

The coaching staff has been taking advantage of the relationships that had before they came to FSU, so this class has more of a national feel while the coaches work to create relationships with high school coaches and players in the state of Florida.

Those relationships are paying off in places like Texas and Louisiana. The Noles already have one commit from Texas and are in a good spot for another wide receiver in Louisiana.

Sunday, blue-chip wide receiver Keon Coleman listed the Noles in his top six schools via his Twitter account:

Coleman hails from Opelousas, Louisiana, and has 39 offers from the likes of FSU, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Auburn, Georgia, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Syracuse, Michigan State, Texas A&M, and others.

He checks in at 6’4″ and 185 pounds and is considered the No. 261 ranked player nationally, No. 48 wide receiver and the No. 8 player in the state of Louisiana.

I wrote Saturday how FSU is looking to recruit players that want to play multiple sports. Coleman is a standout athlete with Division I offers in basketball while also competing in track and field.

FSU running back coach David Johnson and FSU wide receiver coach Ron Dugans are involved with his recruitment.

His final six features two schools that have strong basketball programs like FSU. However, FSU is closer to Louisiana than Michigan, and Kansas’s football has never been very good.

If the Noles can get him on campus things could get interesting!
