FSU basketball has one commit in its 2021 recruiting class and has the attention of another five-star player.

FSU basketball got a commitment from 2020 big man Quincy Ballard a couple of weeks ago.

However, they could add a 2021 five-star big man to the group as Tennessee’s Moussa Cisse has the Noles listed in his top six programs released Friday afternoon.

Leonard Hamilton has been known to bring in talented big men in the past, and Cisse would be a huge coup for him.

Check out how Cissee announced his top six programs via his Twitter account.

Cisse hails from Memphis, Tennessee, and is listed at 6’10” 220 pounds while holding 16 offers from the likes of FSU, Memphis, Tennessee, Georgetown, LSU, Kentucky, Georgia, Virginia, Kansas, UCONN, Ole Miss, and others.

He’s considered the No. 8 player in the nation, No. 3 power forward and No. 1 player in Tennessee.

He’d be the piece the Noles have been missing the past year or so, a great rebounder and rim protector, who can finish at the rim. However, we’ve seen big men develop under Leonard Hamilton’s staff. The only question is, would Cisse be in college longer than one year?

He’s visited FSU basketball in January and has previously visited Memphis and Kentucky. It should be noted he’s visited Memphis at least twice unofficially.

They hold the 247 crystal ball prediction lead with 60 percent of the votes (3), LSU holds a vote, and another voter is undecided at this time.

FSU currently has one 2021 commit in four-star shooting guard Bryce McGowins which has the 2021 class ranked No. 15 overall for that recruiting cycle.

They signed the No. 3 and No. 6 players nationally for 2020 in Scottie Barnes and Sardaar Calhoun, along with the aforementioned Ballard.

The program has been calling themselves the “new blood” after winning the ACC Regular Season Title this past year. If they can keep recruiting at this level, there will be no denying that moving forward.
