FSU football will play against Boston College Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Here’s the best way to watch the game and my best bet.

As you know FSU football has ended the Willie Taggart era and will be coach by FSU great Odell Haggins in his second stint as interim coach.

Haggins led the Noles to a bowl game near the end of the 2017 season and will look to do the same in 2019.

FSU desperately needs a win over Boston College  for a realistic shot at getting to six wins with Alabama State and Florida on deck.

We talked about how the Noles need to stop the run against Boston College who runs the ball 68 percent of the time.

The Eagles opened as a +1 underdogs but money has poured in and they’re now betting favorites with over 80 percent of the bets according to the Action Network. The over/under opened at 61.5 and is now around 63 with 69 percent to the money on the over.

This implies oddsmakers expect Boston College to win 33-30 or something along those lines.

The game will air courtesy of the ACC Network and can be viewed on the WatchESPN app. It can be listened to on 580 AM.

This is a tough game to call because we have absolutely no idea how the Noles will react to the firing of Willie Taggart. I know they rallied around interim coach Odell Haggins to make a bowl game in 2017 and a number of those players are still on the team.

Boston College is awful on defense and should give up some points, but it’ll all be centered around FSU’s ability to stop the run.

It’s been decent this year after the first two games, especially against teams with quarterbacks that are inaccurate. Boston College fits the bill, but it will be NO fun trying to tackle AJ Dillon in cold weather.

Next. Where Does FSU Go After Firing Willie Taggart. dark

With such a big percentage of the bets being on Boston College, I’m going to fade the public and take the Noles at +2.5.
