FSU Football: Fans react to Morven Joseph decommitment from Florida
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football still has a need for defensive ends in its 2020 recruiting class. A big target just become available courtesy of rival Florida.
FSU football has one defensive end committed for the 2020 recruiting class with former Florida Gator commit Josh Griffis verbally committing to FSU in April.
The Noles are still in the market for at least one more defensive end and three-star Florida Gator commit Morven Joseph on campus in late June.
Joseph announced he was decommitting from the Gators shortly after FSU offensive line target Richie Leonard announced his commitment for the Gators.
Itβs true FSU wanted to land Leonard, but heβs a guard on the offensive line and defensive end is more of a priority in the 2020 recruiting class as FSU football could lose both Joshua Kaindoh and Janarius Robinson after this season.
Joseph is the No. 483 ranked player in the nation and No. 17 weakside defensive end while being ranked the No. 71 player in the state of Florida.
He stands 6β3β³ 215 pounds with 26 offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Miami, LSU, UNC, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Kentucky and others.
Joseph has been on campus at FSU twice this spring with the coaches talking up the opportunity to be versatile with the potential to play early.

Thoughts
FSU seems to be a strong candidate to land Joseph and a few crystal ball predictions have already been placed for the Noles following his decommitment.
He definitely fits a position of need while being a nice complement to what Griffis brings to the table.
Joseph would be the speed rusher capable of dropping in coverage with Griffis being the bigger of the two who can rush the passer while also setting the edge against the run.
Weβll see if Joseph makes it to FSUβs Saturday Night Live recruiting event at the end of July. If so, itβll definitely be a good sign for the good guys.
