FSU football has landed its first blue chip wide receiver for 2020 Sunday. Another 2020 blue chip wide receiver likes the Noles too.

FSU football is hot on the recruiting trail the past couple of weeks and now has claimed the No. 5 recruiting class in the nation.

Not too shabby coming off the worst season in most of our lifetimes. The Noles still have work to do in the class that’s about half full and wide receiver is still a big position of need even with the addition of Malachi Wideman.

The Noles will likely take about three more wide receivers in the class.

Four-star wide receiver Kris Abrams-Draine listed the Noles in his top seven list released Monday:

Abrams-Draine is the No. 352 ranked player and the No. 63 ranked wide receiver in the nation. The former LSU commit is considered the No. 15 player in the state of Alabama.

The good news for the Noles is he listed FSU football his top seven just four days after being offered:

Thoughts

Abrams-Draine holds notable offers from the likes of FSU, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Oregon, West Virginia, LSU and others.

He’s visited Tennessee multiple times in the past year with the Volunteers holding the 247 Crystal Ball predictions lead with one.

He’s 6’0 170 pounds and would likely play in the slot since he’s not a huge framed wide receiver.

Abrams-Draine would be a solid addition to the class with FSU in the mix for a few other wide receivers currently ranked higher than him.

At least three of them are from Florida, so it would make more sense to pursue them since Abrams-Draine is from out-of-state.

Next. How Malachi Wideman Commitment Impacts Noles. dark

Nevertheless, we’ll see how hard they pursue but there’s interest since he was just offered a few days ago.
