FSU football social media has been the butt of jokes the better part of the last year.

When it comes to FSU football our readers know I criticize and praise when the situation calls for it. When the Noles looked terrible on the field in 2018 I called them out for it.

When I thought James Blackman should have been starting instead of Deondre Francois I called them out on it.

I thought Willie Taggart did a good job closing out the 2018 recruiting class giving the hand he was dealt with how the former regime left.

However, the 2019 recruiting class did not live up to FSU football standards and I said as much.

Social media is an important factor in recruiting for big time programs. FSU football’s social media account had become a liability instead of an asset with a number of poor posts that had to be deleted over the past few months.

About two weeks ago I wrote about how the FSU football social media needed to be upgraded and held accountable.

I’m here to give credit where credit is due. The FSU football social media presence has improved since that post no question. I’m not sure if they reached out to friend of the site KCampDesign or what, but his work has been used by some of the FSU coaches as they’re on the road recruiting.

This piece was done by FSU Creative Director Montaze Lavon who took responsibility for the MLK Jr. edit earlier this year.

This was a tremendous edit done for FSU defensive end commit Josh Griffis. The theme was perfect because of the Avengers movie coming out last week and it was just well done.

Lavon did that one too I believe.

So job well done FSU football social media folk. This is the type of stuff we need to see from here on out.

Whether its contracting work out to folk like KCampDesign or BGEdits or simply taking the less is more approach and putting out quality graphics like the Hulk edit. Keep up the good work!
