FSU football added to its 2020 recruiting class Friday afternoon. Another huge target re-opened his recruitment the same day.
FSU football needs to start dominating in the trenches again and added to a position of need Friday with the addition of three-star defensive end Josh Griffis.
It was a move that was expected for a while and another move that was expected happened on the same day.
Three-star offensive lineman Richie Leonard III decommitted from Kentucky and announced his recruitment is “wide open” to other schools.
One of those schools is FSU football who’s been recruiting him hard as Leonard has visited FSU at least three times this spring.

Thoughts
Leonard was one of five players I wrote about last week who could commit to the Noles. The No. 1 guy on that list was Josh Griffis who committed to FSU Friday.
Leonard is getting recruited hard by FSU commits Jeff Sims and Zane Herring. Herring is an offensive lineman with that position being a huge position of need for the Noles.
Leonard is also a high school teammate of another huge FSU target in four-star running back Caziah Holmes who has FSU football as his leader at the moment.
Another huge FSU target is offensive linemen Tate Johnson who’s friendly with Leonard as you can see below:

Could they look to play together in college? It’s possible as all of these guys were on FSU’s campus at the same time for its spring game.
Both are in close proximity to Tallahassee and both fit a position of need for the Noles. Leonard visited Tennessee last week and is also considering Miami.
FSU currently holds all the crystal ball predictions with four votes.
