FSU Football: 5 recruits Noles could land next for 2020
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football is doing a great job of getting quality players on campus for the 2020 recruiting class. I look at five players they could get commitments from next.
FSU football has gotten off to a better start to the 2020 recruiting season when it comes to establishing contact and building relationships with quality players this recruiting cycle.
The Noles had a huge spring last year with some top targets on campus during its spring game.
However, a terrible season on the field and the appearance of utter chaos within the program caused a lot of those top targets to fade to black like a Jay-Z.
So, we know the staff can recruit because they’ve been able to conduct great evaluations and get those players on campus multiple times.
They’ve gotten a couple of key recruits to commit in quarterback Jeff Sims and offensive lineman Zane Herring.
Those two players are going hard in the paint on the recruiting trails and even have a friendly competition about who’ll bring in the most players in the 2020 class.
The Noles have seven commitments with four being considered blue chip players and the other three considered three-stars. However, it’s still early in the recruiting process and a couple of those three stars should become four-stars.
I’ve talked about how Willie Taggart seems to get commitments in bunches almost like it’s a strategic move to create momentum.
Let’s look at five recruits the Noles could land next for the 2020 recruiting class.
