FSU football is still on the market for a new offensive coordinator. We look at three things Willie Taggart needs to look for with a new hire.

It’s been a hair over a week since former FSU offensive coordinator Walt Bell bounced like round ball and headed to UMass to be the new head coach.

The rumors have been swirling rampant around who the new offensive coordinator at FSU football will be.

One name for sure is off the board as former Ole Miss head coach Huge Freeze has accepted the head coaching job at Liberty.

There are still a couple of names with lots of smoke, namely former Baylor OC/QB coach and current Houston OC/QB coach Kendal Briles.

Other names like Jeff Scott, Mike Sanford and Larry Fedora have been all over social media with FSU fans debating who they’d like to see Willie Taggart hire.

All of these coaches have pros and cons obviously and would likely be an upgrade over Walt Bell. However, Taggart must find the right fit for his staff and can’t afford another misstep when it comes to hiring an offensive coordinator.

We take a look at three things Willie Taggart needs to look for in a new offensive coordinator to be successful with FSU football.
