FSU recruiting continues to get elite recruits on campus almost daily.

We wrote a week ago how the FSU recruiting staff was doing an excellent job of getting recruits to visit FSU football.

That trend certainly continued this week with players visiting almost daily. In fact, almost everyday could be considered a “junior day” with the number of visits taking place.

We always say follow the visits in recruiting and several blue chip players have already visited Tallahassee multiple times since the new staff arrived.

The fact they are coming so frequently is a testament to what this staff is doing  in building relationships with recruits and their parents.

Check out some of the feedback recruits posted on social media from the weekend:

As we’ve said, Willie Taggart and staff will take a large class in 2019 but will be selective in who they want to add as they will not be adding bodies for numbers sake like the old staff did at times.

They have five commitments right now and could easily have a few more if they really pushed a couple of recruits for their commitments.

The key to everything is getting these recruits on campus in settings that don’t involve huge numbers of recruits. That way each player can feel extra special and have the opportunity to build those relationships with staff.

Once that takes place the staff can bring all of those recruits they’re really pushing for to events like the spring game.

It’s the momentum effect as those select players will begin to talk among themselves about what’s possible if they all decide to commit to FSU recruiting.

If that happens, they’ll all begin to become active recruiters for FSU like Amari Gainer and others have done in past recruiting classes.
