Jimbo Fisher is no longer the head coach of the Seminoles – but he took a final shot at his former school during his introduction to Texas A&M.

For the last few days, FSU football fans have had to get used to saying the words “former head coach” when talking about Jimbo Fisher and his association with the school. Since Friday’s announcement that he was in fact leaving for Texas A&M, those in garnet and gold have been dealing with their emotions on the matter.

While there is no doubt that Fisher did help being the Seminoles back to national title level during his time in Tallahassee, the way he left is what has many people upset – not answering any of the questions, acting like he might stay when it appears he never intended to be coach of the Noles in 2018.

Well, it now appears that Jimbo Fisher has decided to burn any bridge he has left with the Florida State football program following his comments on Monday when he was introduced as head coach of the Aggies.

Per the Tallahassee Democrat, Fisher took a final shot at the Seminoles and made a statement that is not only insane, but factually inaccurate:

"“You can have the greatest coaches in the world, but if the administration doesn’t see things in the way you see things, and allow you to do things that way, nothing can be achieved.”"

So, let us get this straight for a second – FSU football is home to a new indoor practice facility, new locker rooms, meeting rooms, coaches rooms, player lounge, film rooms, a new champions club section to the stadium and plans are in the works for the football only facility Fisher wouldn’t shut up about while the team had a 29 game winning streak that included three ACC titles and a national crown.

But nothing was achieved? Nothing was done? Jimbo Fisher didn’t get his way during the first eight seasons he was the head coach of the Seminoles? If Fisher was just saying that to get the Aggies and their fans hyped to think they “saved” him, it’s a classless move but one I get because he has to play a game.

However, if Jimbo Fisher truly believes that statement – than I think he might just be the most delusional human being in the coaching profession and the Aggies just got themselves a $75 million head case they will be looking to get rid of when he fails to lead them to the SEC West crown while he is in College Station.

Fortunately, social media decided to remind Fisher and those siding with him on this one of his hypocrisy and short memory:

Jimbo Fisher’s comments also just did something a lot of people wouldn’t have thought possible – as plenty of people like myself will root for him to lose as often as possible and be exposed as the coward he is. Do us a favor, Jim – don’t come back to Tallahassee for any reunions. After all, nothing was achieved while you were here, right?
