FSU football will look to avoid a noon kickoff letdown against NC State.
FSU football has gone from a primetime game against Miami this week to a noon kickoff against the NC State Wolfpack next week.
Granted, the noon kickoff time may have been the same regardless of this week’s game against Miami being canceled.
However, it likely won’t be the electric atmosphere Doak Campbell provides at 3:30 or later games. This has cause for concern with FSU football fans as they believe the team usually comes out flat for noon kickoffs.
Also, they seem to be weary of the NC State Wolfpack who always seem to play the ‘Noles tough, albeit more so in Raleigh than Tallahassee.
ACC announces that FSU's next game, at home vs. N.C. State on Sept. 23, will be a noon kickoff.

It didn’t take long for FSU football fans to sound off on social media about their disappointment.

Just keep kicking us while we're down.

Here we go with the crapy noon kickoffs. Always home games too.

Thoughts
First of all, that first tweet actually made me laugh out loud for some reason. However, what it is with this inferior attitude?
It’s NC State who FSU football has beaten every year since 2012. Have you not watched them play this season? They lost to a mediocre South Carolina team and Marshall was whipping them for a half.
Yes, I understand FSU will trot a true freshman out there with no college experience against a defense that’s supposed to be stout.
However, they don’t seem to be as good as advertised as they allowed Marshall to average 6.6 yards per play Saturday.
That secondary is suspect and FSU is the much more talented team, so stop complaining, get to the game if you possibly can and support this team.

If Jimbo Fisher can’t get this team fired up and ready to play after having TWO weeks off, then this team shouldn’t be considered a top 10 team.
The game doesn’t care what time it’s played.
