FSU recruiting continues its momentum with a 2019 commitment from four-star Texas wide receiver Jalen Curry.

FSU recruiting is on fire with three commits over the past few days for the 2018 class. They’ve also added to huge recruits to its 2019 class.

Five star defensive back Akeem Dent committed to the ‘Noles on Friday, and Saturday saw four -star composite wide receiver Jalen Curry join the 2019 recruiting class.

FSU recruiting now has 16 commitments for the 2018 class and the 2019 class is quickly filling up with seven commitments.

Thoughts

The recruiting staff were being questioned regarding their ability to attract top talent when it came to the wide receivers group. However, that’s beginning to change with the addition Curry in this class.

The staff is also in heavy pursuit of several four-star wide receivers for the 2018 recruiting cycle and have two talented commits already.

The type of receiver FSU is targeting is changing as well. They currently have several big receivers on the team: Auden Tate, Keith Gavin, Tamorrion Terry and George Campbell are all over 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Jalen Curry is already over 6 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds as he’s going into his junior season in high school.

That’s crazy!

This commitment also continues the pipeline into Texas recruiting to seemed to begin with four-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson in the 2016 class. Five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson followed in the 2017 class. As we said, FSU in the mix for a couple of Texas wide receivers in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
