FSU football coach continues to get disrespected by the media. Here are three reasons why we believe that’s the case.

FSU football coach Jimbo Fisher is one of the top three or four coaches in the nation and it’s not close frankly.

However, media release their rankings of top coaches every year in the preseason and Fisher continues to be disrespected.

Last year, some outlets had him ranked behind coaches like Gary Patterson and Mark Dantonio.

This year he isn’t recognized on the Dodd Trophy preseason watch list with FSU being a heavy favorite to win the ACC.

Frankly, it’s absurd Fisher gets blatantly disrespected. Look at that list above, the only coach that deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Fisher is Dabo Swinney. The others, while good coaches, are not even favorites to win the ACC.

However, I think I know why this keeps happening each year. Check out three reasons Fisher keeps getting overlooked.
