You should hammer this over/under win total by DraftKings for FSU football in 2025

You need to get on the over/under win total before it goes up.

FSU FOOTBALL OUTLOOK

Before fans start to comment, I realize that the Florida State Seminoles finished with a 2-10 record last season. I know that there will be individuals out there who want to take a conservative approach since they underperformed.

However, DraftKings Sportsbook put in a preseason over/under win total for the Seminoles of 6.5. This was a surprising number, I thought it would be at 7 or even 7.5. This tells me that Vegas isn't ready to buy into Florida State football once again after it lost so much from a season ago.

WHY I BELIEVE FANS SHOULD HIT THE OVER

I am not telling you what you should do with your hard-earned money, but I will say that I am personally smashing the over on the 6.5 over/under win total. This is too good to pass up as Florida State opens up with Alabama in the season opener (which will be difficult), but then it continues with playing East Texas A&M, Kent State, and Virginia.

The program only had one ACC win in 2024, so I cannot chalk up a win on the road against the Cavaliers. However, if the Seminoles head into Miami week with a 3-1 record, they would only have to go 4-4 through the final eight games to hit the over.

In those eight games, Florida State plays lesser conference opponents such as Stanford and Wake Forest. Then you have to find two victories somewhere in the mix of Miami, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and Florida.

This is an entirely different squad from 2024, with 46 high school recruits and transfers filling up the roster this upcoming year. I am not suggesting that the Seminoles will reach the College Football Playoff (it would be great if they did), but I believe that the floor has been elevated, and you have a ton of players on the roster who want to redeem themselves from the disaster.
