TURN THE PAGE IN 2025
Florida State football had a horrific 2024 season, where it accomplished a 2-10 record. The Seminoles had one of their worst campaigns in program history in the fifth year at the helm of head football coach Mike Norvell.
The fan base knew that the Seminoles were probably in for a long year after the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeated Florida State in the Week 0 matchup in Dublin, Ireland, by a score of 24-21. That is the highest point total that the Seminoles scored until they reached 41 points in their matchup versus Charleston Southern in November.
GEORGIA TECH'S RINGS
Georgia Tech's football team made rings and posted them on social media. The Yellow Jackets highlighted the victories over Florida State and Miami.

It should be noted that I find joy that the Hurricanes continuously get dunked on for not performing up to expectations, especially after this was supposed to be "their year". The fan base says that every year, but then comes back to Earth.
Nonetheless, I don't necessarily think it is a flex to put Florida State on the rings. The Yellow Jackets finished with a 7-6 record with a loss to arch-rival Georgia Bulldogs in eight overtimes and Vanderbilt in the bowl game.
LOGO CARRIES WEIGHT
I don't want to fully criticize them as the Seminoles did not make the postseason in 2024. I have to bite my tongue on my opinion regarding the topic. This does speak volumes about what Florida State still is as a program.
The Seminoles have had an up-and-down decade of football since having a dominant run from 2010-2016, with at least ten-win seasons in six of the seven years. Nonetheless, this was a program that finished with a 13-1 record in 2023 and was in consideration for the 4-team College Football Playoff.
Long story short, the logo still carries weight to matter to those amongst the ACC.
