Do you remember when some Miami Hurricane fans and YouTube guys tried to say Miami wide receiver Xavier Restrepo was a better receiver than FSU's Keon Coleman?

Coleman played hurt for a good portion of his season in Tallahassee but was a major contributor on special teams. He had four receptions and a touchdown against Miami that year and three punt returns for 62 yards.

Restrepo had zero catches and zero yards against FSU's defense in 2023. He only had four receptions for 24 yards and no touchdowns against the Noles in 2024. He only had two receptions for 25 yards in the 2022 contest against FSU.

The fact is, a great deal of Restrepo's production came against several of the bad teams Miami schedules every year to boost their record. A prime example was last year. Restrepo had 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns. Restrepo had 60 receptions, 979 yards, and 10 touchdowns against unranked opponents. He had 24 receptions, 339 yards, and two touchdowns against FBS teams without a winning record. He had three of his touchdowns against non-FBS schools.

Do you want to know why he struggled against the teams with better defenses? He only ran a 4.7-4.8 40-yard dash at Miami's Pro Day on Monday at 5'10" and 200 pounds.

Keon Coleman ran an official 4.61 40 time at the NFL Combine at 6'3" and 213 pounds. He also had some of his biggest moments against the best competition. What about his FSU debut against No. 5 LSU in 2023? What about his five reception and 86 yards, with two touchdowns on the road against Clemson?

Coleman went on to become a NFL Second Round Draft Pick with the Buffalo Bills. We'll see who Restrepo signs with as an Undrafted Free Agent, but the it's funny to see the Miami jokes about the two receivers come home to roost.
