I completely understand the hesitancy of not believing in what Florida State football has to offer in 2025 after the abysmal 2024 season that concluded with a 2-10 record.
However, many within the fan base are unimpressed with the transfer portal haul that the Seminoles have brought in. I want to bring to your attention that Florida State has had a tremendous transfer portal class, where they have several players who will have meaningful roles this upcoming season.

ANALYSIS
That is potentially thirteen starters out of the twenty-two available spots in the starting rotations on offense and defense. That isn't even including Oklahoma running back transfer Gavin Sawchuk, who has been predicted to commit to Florida State.
I realize that the Seminoles cannot live their life through the transfer portal. There has to be some home-grown talent via the high school ranks (I know that Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney is reading this and saying "I told you so").
Plus, other transfers could emerge into the starting roles that I didn't include in the list. I know that the roster still has holes, and it can always get better, but I feel like some individuals will never be satisfied.
All in all, I know that 2-10 was horrific. However, we cannot afford to keep beating a dead horse about it. Fans hear the hype of the squad in the media sessions and want to see it before they start to believe it. Trust me... I get it.
The team has to learn from the 2-10 season and move on, or it will result in 2024, where individuals from the program were too concerned about proving doubters from the College Football Program snub in 2023.
Overall, I am excited for this 2025 season and cannot wait for the Seminoles to compete with the likes of Alabama in the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium on August 30th.
