SHOULD WE TRUST FSU RECRUITING?
Florida State football is setting up for its final official recruiting weekend of June. It could set the tone for the Seminoles' season as the program looks to put its 2-10 season in 2024 in the rearview mirror.
The Seminoles' fan base has been critical of the program's high school recruiting effort under head football coach Mike Norvell, stating that he is "too focused on transfers." Coach Norvell has a chance to prove them wrong, as Florida State ranks as the 22nd-best recruiting class in the 2026 cycle.
Florida State will have some exciting prospects on campus this weekend, which is headlined by five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin. The Seminoles want to make a splash in front of their arch-rivals, Florida and Miami. This isn't to say that the program is like Ohio State and only cares about beating its rivals.
With that said, here are three things that I am ready to see as Florida State's coaching staff enters the recruiting weekend.
