FSU FOOTBALL
Florida State football finished the 2024 season with a 2-10 record, with its only wins coming against California and Charleston Southern. The Seminole faithful had to test their fandom for the majority of the year as the program continued to slip out of control.
Meanwhile, Florida State became a laughing stock in college football, where SEC lovers Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy ensured that the fan base heard about their dislike for the program.
We saw what happened last year for the Seminoles when they tried to prove the doubters wrong after being snubbed from the four-team College Football Playoff in favor of the one-loss Alabama Crimson Tide.
UNPREDICTABILITY
Overall, this is a Seminole team that many outside of the squad have doubts about due to the unfamiliarity of adding forty-four recruits and transfers, as well as six new coaches to the staff.
Change is never an easy thing, especially when Florida State opens up the 2025 season at home against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, August 30th. Head football coach Mike Norvell is in a pivotal season with the Seminoles as he looks to head in the right direction.
INTERESTING PREDICTION
Social media accounts across platforms have their predictions of how they believe the season will transpire. This particular individual, who runs an account called "Week-to-Week CFB", predicted the ACC standings for the year. Interestingly enough, they had the Seminoles finishing with an 8-4 record.

The 7-5/8-4 mark is where many people think that the Seminoles will end up this season. According to the prediction, it is likely that he has Florida State losing to Alabama and Florida out of conference, and then maybe Clemson and Miami in conference.
Overall, I wouldn't be angry with the prediction, but there wouldn't be a ton of marquee wins. I might be selfish and sound like an Ohio State fan (when it comes to them being obsessed about beating Michigan), but I want to beat one of their arch-rivals, Miami or Florida, if possible.
