FSU football coaches turned over a large portion of their roster over the past month, with over 20 players exiting the program and signing 16 transfer portal players in the Winter Transfer Portal window.
Over 70 percent of the players who exited the program didn't and likely wouldn't have become meaningful contributors in future years.
However, well over the majority of the transfer portal players, FSU signed have multiple years of experience and production at other major college football programs.
It's a stark contrast from last year when FSU depended more on their high school evaluations, taking many former blue-chip players with little to no experience and production in college.
It was a mistake to go that route, and FSU paid handsomely, with most of those players not living up to their rankings. I like nearly every player they took in the portal. There's at least a reason or explanation for each player they took.
Some players excite the fans more than others, but I think FSU has a few players who were underrated by the recruiting services and fans who will have a major impact in 2025. Here are my top three in the class.
