LB TAVION WALLACE (ARKANSAS COMMIT)

Florida State was once seen as a favorite for four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace. The Georgia native was thought to be considering the Seminoles and was even crystal balled to Florida State before choosing Arkansas.

Wallace committed to the Razorbacks in July. Florida State has one linebacker prospect pledged to the fold in four-star Ethan Pritchard. The Seminoles would have liked to grab Wallace but struck out on him, as did Zaydrius Rainey-Sale (Washington commit) and Gavin Nix (Miami commit).

Linebackers coach Randy Shannon is not guaranteed to be on the coaching staff. Shannon has been a good developer with pieces such as Justin Cryer, Blake Nichelson, and Omar Graham Jr. However, he has a lot of question marks surrounding his recruiting ability.

Wallace came for a surprise unofficial visit to Florida State over the weekend. Could this be exactly what the Seminoles need to infuse good talent into Tallahassee?
