Florida State's recruiting efforts for the 2025 cycle flourished after the Seminoles went in a different direction after head football coach Mike Norvell decided to fire and hire six new assistant coaches.

The Seminoles did not have the season that they wanted in 2024, but that doesn't mean that teams are not allowed to get better. Norvell knew that last year was not the standard at Florida State, but he insisted that it would be a quick fix.

The transfer portal was attacked heavily this offseason as Florida State tries to get back on track like it did in 2022 and 2023 where it had a combined 23-4 record. With that thought process, it is important to note that the transfer portal should not be solution to every problem.

Recruiting high school talent is still a core foundation of a team's sustainable success. The Seminoles will be hosting several talented 2026 prospects on campus this weekend. As a result, I want to highlight three prospects from the cycle that Seminole fans need to monitor.
