FIVE-STAR OL SOLOMON THOMAS

Florida State fired offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins this past week. The Seminoles have four offensive linemen committed with five-star Solomon Thomas, four-star Mario Nash Jr., four-star Peyton Joseph, and three-star Daniel Pierre Louis.

Atkins had a great relationship with several of those prospects. He has been known to be a father/big brother figure in recruiting. He relates well with the kids. However, his offensive line unit has been very disappointing with all of the veterans.

Florida State has secured the services of five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Thomas ironically committed to the Seminoles after the program was excluded in the College Football Playoff in favor of a one-loss Alabama team.

Thomas endured the hardship of Florida State missing the playoffs, but now that Atkins was relieved of his duties, it seems that he could be looking elsewhere. Thomas was seen on social media stating that Florida State made a mistake by firing him.
