Could this mean anything to the Seminoles with Dallas Wilson's injury

FSU VS UF MATCHUP

Florida State football will be taking on the Florida Gators in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the season finale. This won't happen until late November, but the Seminoles' fan base always want to know what is going on with those pesky Gators.

This is ChopChat and not GatorChat, so I don't want this to sound like I drink Gatorade or like the color orange because I will never. However, when injuries happen to pivotal pieces of their team, it is worth a post.

Florida has already seen their starting quarterback, DJ Lagway, and running back, Jadan Baugh, deal with injuries in fall camp. The Gators suffered another injury with sensational true freshman wide receiver Dallas Wilson.

DALLAS WILSON INJURY

Wilson was someone that their fan base was hyping up through camp because he looked well beyond his years. The former four-star prospect from Tampa, Florida, was someone that Florida State tried to recruit to the Garnet and Gold, but were unsuccessful.

However, the bad news struck as Wilson suffered a lower leg injury, according to multiple reports. The talented pass catcher is now in a cast and will miss a couple of weeks. The Gators play their opener versus Long Island on Saturday, August 30th.

While the program doesn't play Florida State for a while, the Gators do have a difficult schedule (just like they did in 2024), so they don't have their players back early on and lose, they could be in "quit mode" once they get to the Seminoles.

That squad looks to be made of glass, as someone will have to wrap the players up in bubble wrap until the season starts to give themselves a chance to be successful.
