FSU 2025 RECRUITING CLASS

Florida State secured a huge victory over East Texas A&M by a score of 77-3 this past Saturday. The fan base expected the Seminoles to win and win big, and that is exactly what they accomplished.

Head football coach Mike Norvell has been emphasizing dominance and aggression. The standard has to be withheld, and personally, after last season, there is a new sense of urgency to get it corrected efficiently.

Coach Norvell took the 2024 season on the chin after finishing with a 2-10 record. He told the media at the conclusion of it that massive changes were going to be made, where he went out and acquired forty-four recruits and transfers to the roster and six new coaches to the staff.

The 2025 recruiting class had a ton of diamonds that could be the face of a program, such as running back Ousmane Kromah, wide receiver Jayvan Boggs, and defensive tackle Kevin Wynn (just to name a few).

It was impressive that seventeen true freshmen played an impactful role in Saturday's matchup. This goes to show you that the Seminoles hit on multiple prospects that could be meaningful contributors one day.

TYELAND COLEMAN

Even though this player isn't a true freshman, head football coach Mike Norvell mentioned junior defensive tackle Tyeland Coleman from the 2025 recruiting cycle for his performance in the victory over East Texas A&M, where he recorded two tackles and one sack.

Coleman was listed as the ninth-best JUCO prospect, where he played at Northwest Mississippi Community College. He had 30 tackles (3.5 for loss) and 1.5 sacks during the 2024 season. The 6'4" and 309-pound defender could be a solid piece in the rotation if he continues to develop.

I always value the defensive trenches because that is something that I believe needs appropriate depth. I hope that Coleman can build on the performance and become a meaningful contributor.
