FSU FOOTBALL
Let me give you a summary of last year for the Florida State Seminoles football team. It was a squad that couldn't run the football, be explosive in the open field, block efficiently, rush the passer, or stop the run.
This was a recipe for disaster for the Seminoles as they finished with a 2-10 record. I hate that Florida State had to add new players to its roster via the recruiting ranks and transfer portal. Plus, some coaches were added to the staff as well.
This gives fans a new sense of life in the program after the disappointment in 2024. The squad is heading to Jacksonville for an opportunity to handle adversity in a new environment. The social media team is doing a solid job of portraying a positive energy in the team.

HYPE TRAIN IS TAKING OFF
I don't want to be the one to hype this squad up, especially since I predicted the 2024 version of the team to win nine games last year. However, the coaching staff seems very adamant that this squad will be a physical bunch that will run the football.
Players such as defensive back Earl Little Jr. want to set the tone with demanding physicality. Hopefully, his teammates will follow suit.
Smart, fast, and physical is a motto that could make this Florida State team a viable squad to monitor in 2025 if it accomplishes its goals. Offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn is someone who wants to run the football. He will have backs like Gavin Sawchuk, Ousmane Kromah, Roydell Williams, and Kam Davis to rely on.
It might seem like unnecessary noise instead of just focusing on the here and now. However, I like the confidence and demeanor that this 2025 team possesses.
