Sike, you thought...Just when you assumed FSU football recruiting was finished

Florida State football recruiting is red-hot.

BUY STOCK IN FSU RECRUITING

Florida State has gotten four-star quarterback Jaden O'Neal, four-star wide receiver Devin Carter, and four-star tight end Xavier Tiller in the fold for its 2026 recruiting class. That connection could feed families for years to come and put points on the scoreboard in Doak Campbell Stadium.

However, head football coach Mike Norvell and his staff seem to have a chip on their shoulder after the fan base said that they cannot recruit high school prospects.

Well, they are taking that narrative to heart now as the Seminoles have the 10th-best recruiting class in the 2026 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. While I know that we have to wait until December to see who officially signs the dotted line, it is impressive to see the coaching staff work after the disaster of the 2-10 season last year.

IT DOESN'T STOP THERE

Did you think that Florida State football recruiting was going to slow down? The program already had crystal ball predictions in favor of the program for five-star cornerback Chauncey Kennon and four-star cornerback Jay Timmons.

However, it keeps getting better as the Seminoles have more momentum, as Noles247's Zach Blostein put in three crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State for three-star offensive lineman Jakobe Green (Mississippi State commit), three-star tight end Landen Miree, and three-star defensive end Chris Addison.

While some fans might look at the prospects and say, "Who cares? They are three-star prospects." Let's remind people that Alabama took a three-star safety Rihyael Kelly (87 composite score) and three-star running back Javari Barnett (85 composite score).

Individuals did not hate on them because they feel like the Crimson Tide could have found a "diamond in the rough". As for Florida State, the 2-10 record didn't help their case. Overall, I like the potential take of Green. He is an offensive lineman (position of need) from a local high school in Gadsden County who is committed to Mississippi State.

This is someone that the coaching staff shouldn't have been so late offering on May 21st. However, I like where the coaching staff is trending for him.
