Florida State's good news keeps happening as the Seminoles continue to haul in highly-touted prospects. The Seminoles started the morning with its 2025 recruiting class in the 50's. However, it now ranked as the 22nd-best recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

The only issue of the day could be five-star offensive lineman commit Solomon Thomas signing with Florida or LSU. However, it doesn't come as a shock since Thomas seemed surprising and frustrated by the firing of offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins.

New coaches can be scary, especially when coaches like Atkins recruit them to a university. Starting the day, the fan base thought that the arch-rival Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes would steal the show after defeating Florida State.

However, it seems like the Seminoles' logo still carries weight. Head football coach Mike Norvell knew that massive changes needed to be made to get Florida State back to the top. As a result, he hired two experienced coaches in offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and defensive coordinator Tony White.

However, Florida State has still not hired a wide receivers coach after Ron Dugans was let go. That has not changed the thought process of four-star Jayvan Boggs, three-star JUCO Jordan Scott, and three-star Teriq Mallory committing at the position.

The Seminoles might not be done there as On3's Keith Niebuhr reported that Class of 2025 four-star wide receiver/tight end Taw'Shaun Gelsey (Florida commit) from Riverview High School in Jacksonville, Florida will not be signing with the Gators.

Gelsey officially visited Florida State this past weekend, and it seems like the most realistic pick at this time.

The offensive playmakers continue to emerge for the Seminoles in the 2025 recruiting class.
