FSU FOOTBALL VS KENT STATE
Florida State had a bye week this past week after they thrashed the East Texas A&M Lions by a score of 77-3 the week before. The Seminoles are now welcoming Kent State to the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium at 3:30 PM EST.
The Golden Flashes are 1-2 on the year, with their only win coming from Merrimack. The fan base wants to get in and get out in this contest, as they have a short week versus Virginia on a Friday night road tilt.
The game indicates that it could be a blowout, as various oddsmakers have the Seminoles as 44.5-point home favorites. This could make the fan base believe that there won't be many highly-touted prospects in attendance.
TALENTED RUNNING BACK IN ATTENDANCE
There will be a solid recruit on campus with Class of 2026 three-star running back Cooper Crosby from Gulfport, Mississippi, who will be unofficially visiting Florida State for the contest versus Kent State.

Crosby is currently committed to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. The back has accumulated 42 carries for 338 yards and four touchdowns through two games of his senior season. Plus, he has added seven receptions for 99 yards.
The Mississippi native won't be the only running back prospect that the Seminoles take in the recruiting class, but it could be worth a grab if Florida State decides to offer him. The program already had four-star Amari Thomas de-commit from the Seminoles and pledge to South Carolina.
Crosby isn't a Cam Akers type of talent in the state, plus Mississippi prospects typically stay around in the area rather than venturing out. The hope is that the Seminoles can flip four-star Amari Latimer (Wisconsin commit).
