The big three of Ta’Niya Latson, O’Mariah Gordon, and Makayla Timpson will consistently lead the way to  Florida State win. However, the rest of the team has to find a consistent rhythm. Sydney Bowles has been the fourth-best scorer on this team. Her three-point shooting has been lethal and has helped the team win big games this season. Unfortunately, Bowles is shooting 32 percent from the field over the past three games. Moving forward, Bowles’ shooting will continue to be important for Florida State. If she doesn’t produce around 10-15 points per game for the team, it’s hard for them to find success.

The same goes for key players like Carla Viegas, Snoop Turnage, Raiane Dos Santos, and others. Their impact does not always have to be putting the ball in the basket. It can be reading the defense and making the extra pass or making a big defensive play. The Seminoles feature a deep team that has an abundance of talented players. To win in the ACC, the team has to play together and each player has to be impactful in their own way.

Luckily, it’s still January. Florida State fans can still breathe as there are still many games to play. The two losses in California are ones to forget about and move forward. Does the team have to fix their road woes in order to be contenders? Yes. I have faith that Coach Wyckoff can lead her team to be more prepared to play on the road for the rest of the season.
