Redshirt sophomore defender is learning from his previous mistakes on social media

This is a cool moment to see on social media.

FSU FOOTBALL WINNING

Florida State football finally gets in the win column, as they defeated Wake Forest by a score of 42-7. This was a surprising result, given that some of the fan base has been giving up on the Seminoles and how head football coach Mike Norvell leads this program.

I understand that the 2-10 season in 2024 was disappointing for everyone, then the Seminoles found a way to defeat Alabama and start 3-0 then lose four straight games. That is the roller coaster ride that the fan base has been on during the last two years.

The losses to Pittsburgh and Stanford were inexcusable. Allowing a true freshman quarterback to come into Doak Campbell Stadium and beat them, plus losing to a terrible offense and defense in front of a half-empty stadium in the West Coast, was unexcusable.

COACH NORVELL HAS THE TEAM'S SUPPORT

Coach Norvell doesn't have the best graces with the fan base, but players like quarterback Thomas Castellanos, wide receiver Duce Robinson, and defensive backs Ja'Bril Rawls and Earl Little Jr. showed support to him in the post-game interviews

The message was clear: It was not on Coach Norvell, it was on the players. The roster continues to express that they just haven't been executing.

One moment in the Stanford game that happened two weeks ago was when redshirt sophomore defensive back Edwin Joseph got called for an 5-yard offsides penalty on a 4th and 4 field goal attempt, and it gave the Cardinal a first down, then he allowed Stanford to score a touchdown later in the drive.

This prompted Coach Norvell to approach Joseph on the sideline after the moment happened. When the defender saw him appeared, he brushed Coach Norvell off on live TV, which didn't look great.

Joseph took the high road on social media about the situation, where he admitted that emotions were high during the moment. I am glad to see that the players continue to express love and gratitude to what Coach Norvell has for them as players.
