Florida State football currently has the 14th-best recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings in the 2026 cycle.
One of the prospects committed to the program since December 2023 is four-star athlete Efrem White from Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Florida. We at ChopChat decided to conduct a Q&A with him:
Q: I know you will be visiting Florida State on the big recruiting weekend of June 20th. What are some of the things that you are looking forward to on the trip?
A: "I'm just looking for a good time and just getting around with more of the coaches, and I want to know what they are thinking of me and how they plan on using me if I go there."
Q: I realize that Florida State has brought in several new coaches on the staff this offseason. What has your relationship been like with new coaches? What position are you being recruited for?
A: "I mean most of the coaches that I've talked to were from UCF and that was a school that I was looking at for the longest, so the bond with those coaches is already there but I've talked to the WR coaches more but I'm trying to play both ways so I'll try and get in there with the DB coaches as well."
Q: You have been committed to Florida State since December 2023. What does it mean to you to be a Seminole?
A: "To me, it means realness, inspiration, and hard work."
