Florida State football's coaching staff had multiple highly-touted prospects visit their campus this past weekend. The Seminoles are trying to elevate their recruiting class ranking from the 25th-best, according to 247Sports Composite.

We at ChopChat recently conducted a Q&A with Class of 2026 three-star wide receiver Camden Capehart from Winnsboro, Texas (Mississippi State commit), who officially visited the Seminoles recently.

Q: You visited Florida State this weekend for an official visit. What stood out to you about the trip?

A: "Just how all of the coaches were so real and even the players even said it, too."

Q: You had over 1,300 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns during your junior season. What are some aspects of your game that you want to continue to improve on during your senior season?

A: "I would want to improve my route running, controlling my speed, and my catching for sure."

Q: Are you considering the possibility of coming back to Tallahassee for a game this season if it works out for your football schedule?

A: "Yes, if I could get out there then, for sure!"

Q: I realize that you are pledged to Mississippi State, but what are some important factors in your recruitment process that you will consider before you officially sign to the school of your choice?

A: "I would say what feels more like a home to me and a family. FSU showed it, I'm not going to lie."
