TAVION WALLACE

It's a linebacker. Yes, a linebacker. You heard me right...

Florida State football fans have consistently asked about the linebacker recruiting over the past couple of recruiting cycles. The Seminoles were able to obtain two talented prospects in the 2024 cycle in three-stars Jayden Parrish and Timir Hickman-Collins.

The position itself has some unproven commodities after redshirt seniors Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune played their final season in the garnet and gold in 2023. While it is nice to have veteran DJ Lundy back for one final ride, they will have to rely upon players like Blake Nichelson, Omar Graham Jr., Shawn Murphy, and Justin Cryer to step up in elevated roles.

The Seminoles do have a talented linebacker in the fold already with four-star Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford (FL). However, it would probably be worth it to secure another prospect or two to solidify depth.

One target to monitor is four-star Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup (GA). The Georgia native has already visited Tallahassee four times. Plus, he has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles.

It certainly seems as though linebackers coach Randy Shannon could be in a good position to land the talented prospect.
