Who are some underrated FSU players that need to be monitored for the future?
JAYLEN EARLY
Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has done a nice job with transforming the offensive line unit into a formidable one in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles went into the 2023 season where they had an eight-man rotation. In terms of Atkins' recruits that he has brought into Tallahassee via the recruiting ranks, offensive tackle Robert Scott Jr. was the only one who was in that rotation.
Will that narrative change for the upcoming season? It seems that most fans are gravitating toward options such as Julian Armella and Lucas Simmons. One name that I would monitor is Jaylen Early. The former four-star prospect from Duncanville, Texas has not played much during his young career.
I believe that Early would project as a guard full-time in the collegiate game. He has impressed throughout the offseason practices. Plus, Florida State will also have to replace D'Mitri Emmanuel who had played well. Atkins should allow Early to at least see if he can be a viable piece.
