FSU football had a very successful season in 2023 where it finished with an undefeated regular season and an ACC Championship. However, the Seminoles are losing quite a bit of valuable contributors from last year's squad.

Unfortunately, this is the nature of the college football landscape and teams have to constantly rebuild/reload their rosters to be competitive. There will be players on the Seminoles' roster who will have expanded roles and make the most of their opportunities.

This is a Florida State football team who is hungry and filled with determination to prove the doubters wrong after wrongfully being snubbed by the College Football Playoff committee.

We at ChopChat have discussed quite a bit about players who should be considered starters. However, college football rosters consist of 85 scholarship players and numerous walk-ons. It would be considered a travesty if we didn't discuss more contributors that might not be talked about enough.

As a result, here are some players who some of the staff members at ChopChat deem as underrated.

-Cole Maines: Kentron Poitier and Darion Williamson

-Leslie Johnson: Hykeem Williams and Deuce Spann

-Nick Andre: Trever Jackson

-Kelvin Hunt: KJ Kirkland

-Jason Zang: Justin Cryer

-Taylor Devers: Jaylen Early
